Time: Sand & finishing takes about 5 days. Installation averages about 200 to 300 s/f per day. Furniture: We do not move furniture due to insurance restraints. Prices: $2.75 s/f & up depending on location, size, & type of work. Maintenance & Care: All wood floors must be mopped, vacumed or swept as often as necessary to remove dirt & dust. Mats & rugs in high traffic areas help. Floor protector pads on the bottom of all furniture & chairs. Urethane finished floors: Never wax urethane finish floors, use floor cleaners that leave no residue on wood. Re-polyurethane floors before they start showing wear patterns in the walkways. Wax
Finish Floors: Never use water base cleaners; rebuff floors to help
restore shine. Wax floors on a regular schedule, usually once a year.
To remove spots, use # 000 steel wool & wax, then rug spots lightly
with wax & wool. Once a floor has been waxed, urethane & other
surfaces finishes can not be applied. |
